With Singapore Airlines as the new main sponsor, the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix was back for its 7th night race. Cyclect continued to support the event by delivering end to end electrical works for the world’s only F1 night race.
Cyclect’s scope of electrical works included powering up the pit building, pit straight, marquees, VIP race suites, Paddock club, F1 village, the Padang stadium and other zones. Other ad-hoc construction of infrastructure such as media centers and the race winner podium was also part of this world class project.
Despite the challenges experienced such as ad-hoc addition and alteration (A&A) and various infrastructure upgrading works, the electrical and roustabout construction was successfully completed within just 4 months this year.
