Packaged Chillers

Applications
BROAD packaged chillers are capable of providing cooling and heating source for any central air conditioning system serving all kinds of buildings, as well as, district cooling &heating systems by supplying chilled water at temperatures 3min. and heating water 95max.

Function
Cooling, heating and hot water(dedicatedly or simultaneously)

Cooling capacity
233 kW(66RT)~11,630 kW(3,307RT) (a single unit can serve a 3,000m2 ~ 200,000m2 building)

Energy source

  • Natural gas, town gas, LPG, biogas
  • Solar energy, power generation or industrial waste heat (like steam, hot water, exhaust, etc.)
  • Diesel oil (industrial waste oil or waste edible oil can also be used)
  • Electricity consumption for chilled water and cooling water distribution is less than 3% of the cooling capacity.

Micro Gas-Cooling

Applications

To provide air conditioning for commercial, administrative, public buildings sized from 200 m2~5000 m2. Especially, suitable for medium & small sized hotels, restaurants, office buildings and villas.

Functions
Cooling, Heating (hot water for special orders)

Cooling capacity
16kW, 23kW, 70kW, 115kW equal to 4.6RT, 6.6RT, 20RT and 33RT or 7HP, 10HP, 30HP, 50HP (a single unit can serve a 200 m2~2000 m2 building).

Energy
Natural Gas, Town Gas, Biogas, LPG, Diesel (Steam, Hot Water, Exhaust can be used for special orders)

Vacuum Boilers

Applications

  • Applicable to any building heating, hot water and industrial heating requirements
  • Providing heating to facilities with high safety requirement
  • Serving BROAD users whose heating demand is 60% greater than the cooling load
  • Particularly suitable for users with temporary heating only requirements and a foreseeable future cooling demand

Features

  • Operates under a vacuum (working pressure avoiding pressurized boiler problems. 200~707 mmHg).
  • Installation and operation do not require costly pressure vessel safety supervision.
  • Secondary heat exchanging hot water system with LiBr+H2O as the medium. Scaling will never occur to the liquid side hence the heat exchanging efficiency will never decrease.
  • 100% automatic control and operator free with remote Internet monitoring.
  • BROAD vacuum boiler is just the high temperature generator (HTG) of BROAD direct fired chiller. Should the customer have cooling demand in the future, by connecting the boiler with a main shell of chiller (by 3 pipes) at anytime the system becomes a chiller / heater.
  • During the installation, requirements related with design and construction of piping, combustion and exhaust system follow the same requirements as BROAD direct fired absorption chiller.
  • Lead time: 4~7 months

Function

  • Heating, hot water (simultaneously or dedicatedly)

Fuel

  • Natural gas, town gas, bio-gas, diesel (or industrial /food waste oil )

Thermal Energy Storage

Applications

TES combines with a central air conditioning system to shift part of the load and to improve operating flexibility and energy efficiency. TES is suitable for:

  • Short air conditioning operating time with high load demand, i.e. theater, stadium, auditorium, dinning hall, etc.
  • Double income families
  • Special energy applications: solar energy, power generation or industrial waste heat, etc.
Advantages
  • Cost effective. Save investment on chillers (the larger the storage tank, the more the savings).
  • Energy saving. Save more energy by balancing the air conditioning load, or making use of low ambient temperature for cooling at night. Chiller can run every other day in low load seasons.
  • Flexible. Satisfy the requirement of swift load changes, e.g. conference, exhibition, sport and show facilities.
  • Full automatic control. Customer may select a program that suits their specific load requirement.
  • Different from ice storage which is expensive and difficult to control. Ice ball has a limited life span. Water storage instead of ice storage is used most often.

Direct Fired Chillers

Applications

By providing three functions (cooling, heating and hot water) within one machine, a significant amount of investment is saved. Power distribution facilities, boilers and other equipment become unnecessary, and management and maintenance expenses are also lowered.
